    Which regex flavour is it?

    JavaScript (ECMAScript), the same as in browsers and Node.js.

    What if my pattern hangs?

    Matching runs in a separate thread and is stopped after 1.5 seconds.

    Is my text uploaded?

    No.

    Can I use Unicode classes?

    Yes, turn on the u flag and use \p{L} and similar.
