    Are my images uploaded?

    No. Conversion runs in your browser.

    What happens to transparency?

    PNG and WebP keep it. JPEG has no transparency, so it is filled with white.

    Which formats can be opened?

    Whatever your browser supports: usually JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, SVG and AVIF. HEIC works only in browsers that support it, such as Safari. You can also paste an image with Ctrl+V.

    Are animations kept?

    No. Only the first frame of an animated GIF or WebP is converted.

    Can I make a favicon or turn an SVG into PNG?

    Yes. Drop an SVG or PNG and choose ICO for a favicon with six sizes, or PNG to rasterise a vector image at a sharp size.
