Are my files uploaded?
No. The recognition engine runs in your browser and the files stay on your device.
How accurate is it?
Clear printed text is recognised well. Handwriting, low-resolution photos and complex layouts give worse results, so always check the text.
Why is the first run slow?
The engine (about 10 MB) is downloaded once and then kept in your browser.
Does it keep tables and columns?
No, you get plain text split into paragraphs.
