    Is the QR code free, and does it expire?

    Yes, it is free and never expires. These are static codes: the content is written into the image, so they work even if this site disappears.

    Do you store my data?

    No. The code is generated in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. Recent codes are kept only in your browser storage and you can clear them anytime.

    Which error correction level should I choose?

    M suits most cases. Use Q or H for printed codes that may get scratched. With a logo, H is selected automatically.

    Why does the tool say my code cannot be read?

    Usually the colors are too close, the code is too dense or the quiet zone is too small. Fix the warnings shown under the preview and the status turns green.

    What size should I print?

    As a rule of thumb, the side of the code should be about one tenth of the scanning distance. Use the print size helper next to the preview.
