Which format is saved?

WebM in Chrome, Edge and Firefox, MP4 where the browser supports it.

Can I record sound?

Yes: system or tab sound where the browser allows it, and the microphone.

Is there a time limit?

No, but long recordings use memory; save in parts for hours of video.

Does it work on phones?

Most mobile browsers do not allow screen capture from a web page.
